Henderson Management Group was built by recruiters who got tired of the volume model — the one where a search is a keyword query and a shortlist is whoever answered first.
The firm
We started in 2014 with one conviction: the firm that talks to the fewest candidates and knows each one best wins the search.
What began as two recruiters working out of a shared office in Orlando is now a team of eleven covering the Southeast, with placements from Tampa and Jacksonville to Atlanta and South Florida. We have stayed small on purpose. Growth has come from repeat clients rather than from adding desks.
Most of our work arrives as a second attempt — a role that sat open for five months, a leadership hire that did not survive the first year, a plant that needs forty people before a launch date. Those are the problems the volume model cannot solve, and they are the reason we do this the slow way.
Our recruiters have worked inside the industries they staff. That means the intake conversation is a technical one, and the candidate conversation is credible — which is most of the job.

How we operate
Fewer searches, better ones
Each recruiter carries a capped desk. When we take your search, it gets real hours every week — not a slot in a queue of thirty.
Written over verbal
Scorecards, assessments, reference summaries, and rejection reasoning are all documented. You can audit the decision months later.
Candidates are not inventory
We tell people the truth about the role, the manager, and the money. It is why they answer the phone the next time we call.
We say no
If a role is scoped wrong, priced below market, or outside our sectors, we tell you before taking a fee — not after two months of silence.
